Positively Pregnant!
The Bible tells us that children are a gift and blessing. Never does it say that children are something that we are to fear or dread. God created us to be fruitful and pregnancy is His design and creation for us to bring the blessing of children into our world! This means that pregnancy is meant to be a blessing! However, because we live in a fallen world there can be many complications that rob us from the joy of being pregnant or carrying our babies safely to term. But just because we live in a fallen world this doesn't mean that we have to accept any of this as part of the package. We don't have to put up with any of the discomforts of pregnancy such as morning sickness, nausea, mood swings, pre-eclampsia, constipation or blood pressure or blood sugar problems! The work that Jesus did on the cross was a complete work and not in vain. He paid the price for you to be free from all forms of sickness, pain and disease, including those that manifest in your pregnancy. The provision for your healthy pregnancy has already been paid for! So make a decision to not put up with any of form of sickness or disease or complication any longer. You can put a stop to it!
We are Redeemed from Sickness in Pregnancy
Praise God, through the finished work of the Cross we have been redeemed from any form of sickness, disease, pain, complication or discomfort in pregnancy! Jesus reversed the curse and set us free from sin and death and all its effects (Gal. 3:13-14,29). Jesus took ALL our sicknesses on the cross, along with all of our sin and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5,12)!
This means that the provision for healing is already yours! If there is a sickness or complication in your pregnancy then tell it to be removed. Your body needs to be subject to you - not the other way around! I encourage you to exercise your God-given authority over your body and command it to function properly at every stage of childbearing; from the conception, the maintenance of the pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.
Now that is Good News!
