Prayer Points

When it comes to praying for your conception, pregnancy, birth, recovery and postnatal period, it is important that you spend time meditating on the truth in God's Word for what you want to receive.


If you have any doubts or fears don’t ignore them. Instead spend time transforming the way you think and the way you see things by continuing to put God’s Word in your heart and mind until you believe what God’s Word says, and you see it as being your final authority.


Remember that faith comes and grows by hearing but fear comes and grows by hearing too. So continue to renew your mind with what God's Word says until faith comes and also becomes the substance of what you are hoping for, and the evidence of what you don’t see yet.




Get a Vision

Faith has vision! Faith enables you to see the things you desire before you receive them. I’m not talking about looking through your natural eyes but spiritually speaking by looking through the eyes of faith. God’s Word paints the picture of what we want to receive. So when I say to look through the eyes of faith you need to look at your circumstances through the eyes of God’s Word.

Before you begin to build your faith you need to have a goal to work towards. Habb 2:2 says to write down the vision (or your goals) and make it plain so that you can run with it! A great way to start is to write down what God says in His Word. You can also write down any specifics you want to build your faith for.

You don’t have to accept everything that happens to you as ‘your lot in life’. If you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can move mountains. While it’s true that all things work together for good, you run the risk of leaving things to chance if you don’t build your faith and act on what you believe. It leaves you open to receive whatever you can experience living in a fallen world.

Now it is up to you!


At the end of God’s Plan for Pregnancy – Pocket Companion are blank pages for you to write down your own personal prayer points. Anything you desire, (even if it seems trivial), or any fears you have, I encourage you to write them down and begin to build your faith. You may also want to write down any scriptures that are personal to you and/or some declarations in your own words. Remember that this is not to get God to do something for you. If you need a breakthrough in certain areas you will be able to act on what you believe. The rest will be history!
