Ministering Since 1995
Nerida Walker is the mother of four miracle
children: Kaitlin, Aidan, and twins, Aaron and
Jesse. In 1994, Nerida’s husband Shaun was
diagnosed as sterile, but through the truth in
God’s Word they conceived and had four children,
within four and a half years. Based on her own
experience, and with a passion to help others
struggling through infertility, Nerida
founded New Life Ministries - Bringing
life to Barrenness a non-denominational
Christian ministry catering to couples who
need prayer, encouragement, and the knowledge
of God’s will in any area of childbearing.
Following the conception of her first miracle
baby, Nerida wrote God’s Plan for
Pregnancy, a book detailing the truth
in God’s Word regarding all areas of
childbearing. It was written for couples
needing truth and encouragement in the areas
of infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy, birth
and postnatal issues. The book is accompanied
by God’s Plan for Pregnancy –
Pocket Companion - a practical guide to help
you to mix God’s Word with faith and to act on
what you believe, so you can see the power of
God released in your life to change your
natural circumstances.
Since
the first edition of God's Plan for
Pregnancy in 1998, among the thousands
of letters and testimonies received were many
from husbands, single friends and
grandparents. While they weren’t
necessarily in need of miracles in the areas
of fertility and pregnancy, they were
blessed by the chapters and Godly
principles shared in "The Foundations Section"
of these books, Nerida's way of communicating
the truth in God's Word, and the simplicity on
how to apply it to their lives. With this in
mind, and with a passion to see every believer
cross the line from barrenness into
fruitfulness in EVERY area of life, Nerida
wrote It Is
Finished, a book revealing
how to see God's power released to heal
and transform every area of life through
the finished work of the Cross.
Nerida has also co-written a course on the
scriptural principles of healing, and lectured
for over 5 years at a Healing School in Sydney
Australia. Since moving from Sydney to the NSW
Central Coast, Nerida has become the Director of
the Woy Woy Healing Rooms, and alongside her
husband Shaun, is a Senior Pastor of
RIVER Christian
Church Kariong.
Since 1995 Nerida has ministered to people around
the world, though the New Life Ministries
website, online
support group (Women in Faith), through her
books, and ministry by email and over the
telephone. She has seen many healings, and
many babies conceived and born into the world,
at times against incredible odds. Nerida also
ministers internationally and at conferences
by invitation, most recently in London and
Singapore.
In Nerida’s heart is a passion to see believers
living in the fullness of their salvation in
every area of life, and to cross the line from
barrenness and miscarriage into fruitfulness,
from sickness and disease into health, and from
lack into the abundance of the work of the Cross
and into all that God has provided. Nerida has
seen many come to know Jesus, and many believers
fall in love with Him all over again, being
healed and transformed by the power of God in
every area of their lives.
