In 1985 Nerida's husband, Shaun, was diagnosed as sterile but through God's Word Nerida conceived and had four children within four and a half years.

Nerida is the author of God's Plan for Pregancy. She is also the co-founder of New Life Ministries - briging life to barrenness, a Christian support network catering to those who who are in need of prayer, encouragement, or the knowledge of God's will in any area od childbearing as well as other areas of healing. New Life Ministries conducts meetings and supports couples around the world. Nerida also co-wrote and taught the scriptural principals of healing at a Bible College in Sydney, Australia for 5 years. She also pastors a church on the Central Coast with her husband, Shaun. Nerida is also the director of Woy Woy Healing Rooms where Nerida and her team have seen many healed through the preaching of the Word and through the laying on of hands. Through this calling Nerida has ministered to many and has seen lives transformed by the power of God.
